The London Spitfire signed flex DPS Jamie “Backbone” O’Neill to their 2022 Overwatch League roster on Tuesday.

Backbone, an 18-year-old from the United Kingdom, most recently competed with Altiora in North American Contenders. He also spent time with Ex Oblivione and Sheer Cold.

In early October, the London Spitfire fired Danish head coach Mads “fischer” Jehg and released six players to leave only DPS players Johannes “Shax” Nielsen and William “SparkR” Andersson signed to the team. The Spitfire responded the following week by adding Christopher “ChrisTFer” Graham as their head coach.

The London Spitfire won just one of 16 OWL matches this year.
