Seth Curry scored 23 points, Georges Niang added 21 and the host Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 113-103 on Monday.

Furkan Korkmaz added 15 points and Andre Drummond had 14 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and five steals for the short-handed Sixers, who won their third in a row.

The Sixers played without Joel Embiid (rest), Ben Simmons (personal) and Tobias Harris, who was a late scratch for health and safety protocols. Danny Green then left late in the third quarter with left hamstring tightness after scoring 11 points.

Tyrese Maxey and Shake Milton contributed 10 each for the Sixers.

Norman Powell led the Trail Blazers with 22 points, and Damian Lillard added 20 points and 10 assists. CJ McCollum had 20 points, and Anfernee Simons chipped in with 17.

Korkmaz converted a reverse layup with 1:41 left in the second quarter for a 52-48 Sixers lead.

The Sixers held a slim 54-53 advantage at halftime, with Curry leading the way with 10 points. Powell paced the Trail Blazers with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting.

Green made a difficult trey from the wing for a 63-55 Sixers lead with 9:41 remaining in the third.

Lillard dropped in a deep 3-pointer from the top of the key to close the Trail Blazers within 72-67 with 6:41 left.

The Sixers led 86-81 at the end of the third.

Portland scored five quick points to open the fourth and the game was tied at 86.

Niang responded with a three-point play and the Sixers moved back ahead by three with 10:46 to go.

Korkmaz soon knocked down a pair of treys and the Sixers led 97-88.

The Trail Blazers closed within 102-96 with 5:27 left following a driving layup from Powell.

When Lillard hit a twisting layup with 4:02 remaining, the Portland deficit was just three, 104-101.

The Sixers came back with three consecutive baskets — two by Curry and one by Maxey — for a 111-101 advantage with 2:07 left.
