Pierre-Luc Dubois scored two goals and Kyle Connor had the primary assist on all three Winnipeg scores as the Jets rallied for a 3-2 victory over the host Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

Andrew Copp netted the game-tying goal early in the third period, and Neal Pionk added two assists for Winnipeg. Dubois extended his points streak to six games as the Jets won their fourth consecutive game after opening the season 0-2-1.

The game-winner, Dubois’ sixth goal of the season, came at 7:35 of the third period when the winger flicked Connor’s centering pass from along the left boards through the legs of Kings goalie Jonathan Quick.

Rasmus Kupari and Adrian Kempe scored goals for the Kings, who saw their losing streak extend to six games (0-5-1) following a season-opening victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Eric Comrie made 30 saves for the Jets in his first appearance of the season with Connor Hellebuyck getting the night off. The Jets also were without Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler, with both in COVID-19 protocol.

Quick stopped 28 shots for the Kings, who were returning home from a 0-3-1 road trip.

The Kings collapsed in the third period one day after learning that star defenseman Drew Doughty would miss eight weeks following a knee-on-knee hit on Oct. 22 and defenseman Sean Walker was lost for the season after sustaining a knee injury Monday.

Dubois scored 4:07 into the game when he delivered a wrap-around goal, slipping the puck just inside the right post.

Kupari tied the game for the Kings just over seven minutes later when he scored his first of the season on a breakaway, beating Comrie on the stick side.

Kempe gave the Kings a 2-1 lead at 1:41 of the second period. Kempe also delivered his first of the season, scoring just inside the left post after Phillip Danault picked up a turnover in the Jets’ zone.

Copp tied the game at 2-all 2:07 into the third period when he scored his fifth of the season on the power play, converting off a Connor pass.
