Karmine Corp swept The Ultimates 4-0 on Sunday in the best-of-seven grand final of the Rocket League Championship Series’ 2025 Birmingham Major in Birmingham, England.

It was a dominant day for Karmine Corp, which had swept FURIA 4-0 in the semifinals earlier Sunday before facing The Ultimates, which had edged NRG 4-3 in the other semifinal.

Karmine Corp’s Samy “dralii” Hajii of Morocco was selected the MVP. The winning team collected $102,000 and 30 RLCS points, while second place was rewarded with $51,000 and 20 points.

The grand final began with Karmine Corp’s 2-1 overtime win on Mannfield (Night), then a 3-1 outcome on Forbidden Temple. After a timeout, Karmine claimed DFH Stadium 2-1 and Utopia Coliseum (Dusk) 1-0.

It was a similar path to success in the semifinal against FURIA, as Karmine won 1-0 on Mannfield (Night), 4-1 on Forbidden Temple, 3-2 on DFH Stadium and 2-0 on Utopia Coliseum (Dusk).

The Ultimates had to rally to get past NRG, which had won Mannfield (Night) 2-1. The Ultimates claimed Forbidden Temple and DFH Stadium, both by 2-1 scores in overtime. NRG went ahead with a 2-1 victory on Utopia Coliseum (Dusk) and a 1-0 outcome on AquaDome (Salty Shalllows).

The best-of-seven belonged to The Ultimates, which won 2-1 on Neo Tokyo and 1-0 on Champions Field.

Earlier Sunday in the lower-bracket quarterfinals, FURIA edged Team Vitality 4-3, and NRG defeated Team Falcons 4-3.

The $351,000 tournament began with 16 teams in a Swiss system format with best-of-five matches on Thursday and Friday. The top eight teams advanced to the playoffs Saturday and Sunday. The top four of the Swiss stage started with two chances before the semifinals, while teams ranked 5-8 started with one chance. All playoff matches were best-of-seven.
