Fordham is parting ways with men’s basketball coach Keith Urgo after three seasons, multiple outlets reported on Thursday.

The Rams posted a 12-21 record (3-15 Atlantic 10) this season, two years removed from earning conference coach of the year honors after guiding Fordham to a 25-8 record in 2022-23.

Urgo was promoted to the position in 2022 after Kyle Neptune left to replace Jay Wright at Villanova. Neptune was fired earlier this month.

Fordham self-imposed a four-game suspension for Urgo in January in connection with an investigation into NCAA recruiting violations. Associate head coach Tray Woodall served as the interim coach at that time.

Urgo, 44, compiled a 50-49 record with the Rams. He previously worked as an assistant at Penn State (2012-21) and Villanova (2010-12) before joining Neptune’s staff for 2021-22.
