Safety Cam Bynum will be dancing his way to Indianapolis after agreeing to a four-year contract worth $60 million, according to multiple sources Monday.
Bynum, who garnered attention with his in-game celebrations, is coming off his fourth season with the Minnesota Vikings, who drafted him in the fourth round (125th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Colts also added cornerback Charvarius Ward with a three-year deal reportedly worth $60 million with $35 million guaranteed.
Ward spent the past three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and was a Pro Bowl selection in 2023 when he established career bests of five interceptions and 23 passes defended.
But last season was difficult for Ward as he missed three games due to the October death of his 1-year-old daughter. He was limited to 12 games overall and didn’t record an interception while making 54 tackles.
Overall, Ward has 435 tackles, 10 interceptions (one for touchdown) and three forced fumbles in 102 games (89 starts) with the Kansas City Chiefs (2018-21) and 49ers (2022-24).
Bynum was a starter the past three seasons in Minnesota.
In 65 career games (54 starts) with the Vikings, Bynum has eight interceptions, four fumble recoveries and 342 tackles.
