MLB: Report: Mets agree to 1-year deal with RHP Drew Smith

The New York Mets are bringing back reliever Drew Smith on a one-year deal, MLB.com reported Wednesday.

The agreement includes a club option for 2026 for the 31-year-old right-hander.

Smith was 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA and two saves in 19 appearances out of the Mets’ bullpen last season.

He is 12-13 with a 3.48 ERA and five saves in 191 games (one start) since debuting with New York in 2018.
