Bam Adebayo had 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the Miami Heat snapped a three-game losing streak with a 110-95 win over the visiting Brooklyn Nets on Monday.

Nikola Jovic scored a season-high 18 points and Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro added 17 apiece for Miami, which bounced back after blowing a 22-point, fourth-quarter lead in a loss to the Orlando Magic on Saturday.

Herro also had 12 rebounds and nine assists, and Alec Burks contributed 12 points. The Heat shot 49.3 percent from the field and 41.5 percent (17 of 41) from 3-point range.

Miami played without Jimmy Butler (stomach illness) and Terry Rozier (left knee inflammation). Dru Smith left the game in the second quarter with a lower left leg injury.

Brooklyn trailed by five before Miami drew clear with a 20-9 run to begin the fourth quarter. The Nets were held to six field goals in the final period and lost for the eighth time in their past 10 games.

Noah Clowney scored a season-high 19 points and Cameron Johnson also finished with 19 for Brooklyn. Keon Johnson had 15 points, and Tyrese Martin chipped in 14 with four 3-pointers off the bench.

Miami opened the game red hot from 3-point range and led 39-28 at the end of the opening quarter after closing the period on a 10-1 run.

The Heat went 9-for-14 (64.3 percent) from beyond the arc in the first quarter. Miami then stretched its lead to 14 points with 5:39 left in the second quarter before Brooklyn battled back and pulled within 58-57 at halftime after putting together a 19-6 run.

Miami led throughout the third quarter, but Martin hit back-to-back 3-pointers at the end of the period to keep the Nets within striking distance at 83-78.
