Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield did not participate in Wednesday’s walkthrough because of a knee issue and would not have practiced if the team had “gone full speed,” the team announced.

Mayfield was among a long list of Bucs who didn’t practice: linebacker K.J. Britt (ankle), tight end Cade Otton (knee), wide receiver Sterling Shepard (foot), safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (knee) and offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs (foot/knee).

Star wide receiver Mike Evans had a day of rest.

Mayfield, 29, has started all 14 games for the NFC South-leading Bucs (8-6) and has completed 328 of 463 passes (70.8 percent) for 3,617 yards, 32 touchdowns and 14 interceptions with a 104.1 passer rating.

He was announced Wednesday as the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after completing 22 of 27 passes for 288 yards, four touchdowns and a 135.3 passer rating in a 40-17 win over the host Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Mayfield has completed 63.2 percent of his career passes for 23,949 yards, 162 TDs and 88 picks in 103 regular-season games (100 starts) for the Cleveland Browns (2018-21), Carolina Panthers (2022), Los Angeles Rams (2022) and Bucs.

The Browns made him the first overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma.

Tampa Bay players listed Wednesday as limited participants were running back Bucky Irving (back/hip), defensive lineman Logan Hall (shoulder/wrist) and safeties Mike Edwards (hamstring), Christian Izien (groin) and Tykee Smith (knee).
