Key reliever Blake Treinen is returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers on a two-year, $22 million deal.

On Tuesday, the Dodgers also announced they agreed to terms with free-agent outfielder Michael Conforto on a one-year, $17 million contract.

Treinen, 36, started his career with the Washington Nationals (2014-17) then moved on to the Oakland Athletics (2017-19) before joining the Dodgers.

He missed the 2023 season due to shoulder surgery. Overall with the Dodgers, he is 17-12 with a 2.29 ERA and nine saves in 154 games.

In 499 career games, Treinen has a 43-34 record with a 2.78 ERA and 90 saves.

Conforto, 31, spent the past two seasons with the San Francisco Giants after beginning his career with the New York Mets, who selected him in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft.

With the Giants, he hit .238 with 35 home runs and 125 RBIs in 255 games. In seven seasons with the Mets (2015-21), Conforto batted .255 with 132 homers and 396 RBIs in 757 games. He was an All-Star in 2017.
