Rickard Rakell and Bryan Rust each had a goal and an assist for the Pittsburgh Penguins in a 5-2 win against the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.

Michael Bunting, Blake Lizotte and Kris Letang also scored and Tristan Jarry made 25 saves for the Penguins, who have won five of six games.

Mitch Marner had a goal and an assist, William Nylander also scored, Auston Matthews had two assists and Joseph Woll made 24 saves for the Maple Leafs, who have lost two in a row following a three-game winning streak.

Bunting gave Pittsburgh a 3-2 lead at 5:34 of the third period.

The Penguins were on their fourth power play of the game when Rust took a shot that went off the skate of Toronto defenseman Conor Timmins and caromed to Bunting, who scored with a one-timer.

Lizotte scored an empty-net goal with 40 seconds left for a 4-2 lead, and Letang followed with another empty-net goal with 26 seconds remaining to make it 5-2.

Rakell drew the first power play of the game, a holding penalty by Matthew Knies, then tipped in a shot by Matt Grzelcyk into the net for a 1-0 lead at 4:39 of the first period.

Toronto tied it 1-1 at 6:35 of the first.

Jarry saved Marner’s tip, but appeared to lose sight of the rebound beside him and Marner swept it into the net for his 10th goal of the season.

Pittsburgh moved back ahead 2-1 at 14:15 of the opening period after Sidney Crosby took a shot off the rush that went wide and caromed hard off the end boards. Rust skated in and scored with a one-timer as the puck reached the top of the right circle.

The Maple Leafs tied it again 2-2 when Nylander scored on a one-timer from just above the left circle while on a power play, beating Jarry on the short side for his 17th goal of the season at 2:32 of the second period.
