Minnesota Vikings rookie kicker Will Reichard and long snapper Andrew DePaola were designated to return from injured reserve on Tuesday.

The move opens a 21-day window for both players to be activated by the team.

Reichard, 23, has missed the past four games with a quadricep strain sustained in Minnesota’s 21-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 3. He made 14-of-16 field-goal attempts and all 23 of his extra-point tries since being selected by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

John Parker Romo, 27, fared well in Reichard’s absence, making 11-of-12 of his field-goal attempts and 7-of-8 extra-point tries.

Jake McQuaide, 36, has stepped in place of the 37-year-old DePaola, who has missed four games with an injured hand.

The Vikings (10-2) host the Atlanta Falcons (6-6) on Sunday.
