Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. was ruled inactive for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants in East Rutherford, N.J.

Robinson’s pregame workout was cut short due to an ailing hamstring, an injury that had him listed as questionable for the contest.

The Commanders (6-2) likely will rely on running back Austin Ekeler in the absence of Robinson, who rushed for 133 yards in a 21-18 victory over the Giants on Sept. 15.

Washington ruled quarterback Jeff Driskel, safety Darrick Forrest, tight end Colson Yankoff, linebacker Dominique Hampton, offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas as inactive.

As for the Giants (2-6), they listed the following players as inactive: punter Jamie Gillan, cornerback Tre Hawkins, offensive guard Jake Kubas, wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton, defensive lineman Jordon Riley and quarterback Tommy DeVito.
