The Buffalo Bills activated eight-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Von Miller Saturday following a four-game suspension, making him available for the team’s Sunday home game against the Miami Dolphins.

Miller, 35, missed four games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Though the league did not reveal the nature of the suspension, Miller was arrested last November for a domestic violence charge. Miller turned himself in to police in suburban Dallas in response to an arrest warrant for an incident involving his pregnant girlfriend.

He was wanted for third-degree felony assault, but no charges were filed in the case and Miller has maintained his innocence. Officers responded to a “major disturbance call” at the couple’s home the morning of Nov. 29.

Miller was allowed to play while the investigation was conducted.

A seven-time All-Pro (including three first-team selections) and two-time Super Bowl champion, Miller collected three sacks in Buffalo’s first four games this season coming off the bench.

The Bills also announced the elevations of wide receiver Jalen Virgil and defensive tackle Eli Ankou from the practice squad.

Virgil, 26, has two career receptions in 10 games.

Ankou, 30, has appeared in 35 games over eight seasons, notching 2 1/2 sacks.

The Dolphins elevated defensive tackle Neil Farrell and long snapper Matt Overton.
