Tyler Marsh is set to become the new head coach of the Chicago Sky, according to media reports Saturday night.

ESPN reported that Marsh agreed to a multiyear deal, citing his agent Andy Miller of Klutch Sports.

Marsh was an assistant coach with the Las Vegas Aces over the past three seasons. He was part of two WNBA championship teams with Las Vegas.

Marsh, 36, takes over a team that went 13-27 last season. Coach Teresa Weatherspoon was fired after one season.

Chicago has young building pieces in forward Angel Reese and center Kamilla Cardoso. Guard Chennedy Carter averaged a team-best 17.5 points with 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists but missed the final two games of the season due to a foot injury.

Marsh was also an assistant coach with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers (2020-22).
