He last pitched in the majors with the Phillies in 2023, going 1-3 with a 3.69 ERA in 28 games (one start).

Covey is 7-32 with a 6.18 ERA in 100 career games (46 starts) with the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and Phillies.
