The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will leave for New Orleans on Tuesday morning to get ahead of Wednesday’s expected landfall of Hurricane Milton, currently a Category 4 storm.

The team will relocate operations to the New Orleans area for the remainder of the week leading up to their Week 6 game against the Saints.

The Bucs (3-2) are coming off a 36-30 loss in Atlanta to the Falcons on Thursday to kick off Week 5. The Saints play Monday night at Kansas City to conclude Week 5.

Hurricane Milton, expected to become a Category 5 storm later Monday, is forecast to make landfall on the west coast of Florida — possibly close to Tampa — on Wednesday evening.
