The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled left-hander Justin Wrobleski in advance of Saturday’s road game against the Colorado Rockies and optioned right-hander Ben Casparius.

Wrobleski, 24, will begin his fifth stint for the Dodgers with two games remaining in the regular season. He has gone 1-2 with a 6.40 ERA in seven appearances (six starts) after making his major league debut July 7.

Casparius, 25, is 2-0 with a 2.16 ERA in three relief appearances. He made his major league debut Aug. 31.

The Dodgers opened play Saturday with an MLB-best 96-64 record and have a two-game lead on the Philadelphia Phillies in the battle for top seed in the National League playoffs.
