Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Justin Jones will miss the remainder of the season due to a triceps injury, coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed Wednesday.

Veteran defensive lineman Naquan Jones was added to the roster in place of Justin Jones, who officially landed on injured reserve.

Gannon also noted that tight end Trey McBride remains in concussion protocol ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Washington Commanders.

Signed to a three-year, $31.165 million contract this past offseason, Justin Jones has four tackles and a fumble recovery in three starts this season.

Justin Jones, 28, has totaled 223 tackles and 12 sacks in 88 career games (72 starts) with the Los Angeles Chargers (2018-21), Chicago Bears (2022-23) and Cardinals.

Naquan Jones, 26, had nine tackles in four games (one start) last season. He has 62 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 36 career games (eight starts) with the Tennessee Titans (2021-23) and Cardinals.
