Third-seeded Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil recorded a win over both of the Kudermetova sisters on Saturday to advance to the finals of the Korea Open in Seoul.

Haddad Maia breezed to a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Polina Kudermetova of Russia in the quarterfinals before notching her 11th win in her past 13 matches with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Veronika Kudermetova in the semifinals. Both matches were contested on Saturday, one day after rain wiped out the schedule.

Veronika Kudermetova set up the semifinal match with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Viktoriya Tomova of Bulgaria earlier in the day.

Also Saturday, top-seeded Daria Kasatkina of Russia defeated both former U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu and fourth-seeded countrywoman Diana Shnaider to advance to the final. Kasatkina won the first set 6-1 before Raducanu opted out of the match due to a foot injury. She then breezed to a 6-3, 6-4 win over Shnaider in 77 minutes.

Kasatkina and Haddad Maia will meet Sunday in the tournament final.
