Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Malcolm Koonce will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury sustained before Week 1, multiple media outlets reported.

The Athletic reported Reed will undergo surgery next week.

Koonce, who was placed on injured reserve Sept. 8, recorded eight sacks and three forced fumbles last season. He is due to become an unrestricted free agent in March.

Koonce, 26, has totaled 55 tackles and 10 sacks in 39 career games (11 starts) since being selected by the Raiders in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
