Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was charged with two misdemeanors after an arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence last month, multiple outlets reported Monday.

Addison is set for an Oct. 7 arraignment at Los Angeles County Superior Court after he was officially charged last week with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent, according to court records.

According to NFL policy on substances of abuse, Addison faces a potential suspension of at least three games.

Addison reportedly was arrested July 12 in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Citing the arrest report, the Los Angeles Daily News reported the 22-year-old Addison, who played his final collegiate season at Southern California in 2022, was found asleep at the wheel of his vehicle, which was blocking the primary freeway offramp to Los Angeles International Airport, just after 11 p.m. on July 12.

A half hour later, California Highway Patrol officers arrested Addison following a DUI investigation. He was released from custody shortly after 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the report.

“We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident,” the Vikings said in a statement at the time.

After being selected 23rd overall in 2023, Addison hauled in 70 passes for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, making the NFL All-Rookie team.

Last July, before his rookie season, Addison was cited in Minnesota for speeding and reckless driving after being clocked going a reported 140 mph in a 55 mph zone.
