Colorado Rapids forward Kevin Cabral is recovering after surgery on his right elbow, the club announced Wednesday.
He sustained a dislocated elbow and a compound fracture to the radial head during a 3-2 loss to the Galaxy on July 17 in Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old Frenchman is expected to be sidelined for up to 12 weeks.
Cabral has five goals and a career-high four assists in 22 MLS matches (18 starts) this season. He has 13 goals and 10 assists in 110 career games (79 starts) with the Galaxy (2021-22) and Rapids.
