The Golden State Warriors are acquiring guard Buddy Hield in a sign-and-trade deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

In exchange for Hield, the Warriors are sending the Sixers a 2031 second-round pick they received from the Dallas Mavericks in the sign-and-trade deal for Klay Thompson.

Hield, 31, will earn $18 million over the first two years and a $3 million partial guarantee for 2026-27, per ESPN. He will also receive a player option for a non-guaranteed fourth season, according to the report.

A 40 percent 3-point shooter, Hield and new teammate Stephen Curry rank as the top two 3-point scorers over the last five seasons.

Hield averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 84 games last season with the 76ers and Indiana Pacers.

Hield, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2016 draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, has averaged 15.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in eight seasons, including six with the Sacramento Kings.
