Juan Soto hit a three-run home run and Gleyber Torres added a two-run shot and the visiting New York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 16-5 Friday night.

Torres also had a sacrifice fly and Aaron Judge had three hits and two RBIs as the Yankees scored a season-best in runs to end a four-game losing streak. The teams have split the first two of the four-game series.

Toronto’s Isiah Kiner-Falefa singled and homered to extend his hit streak to 12 games and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. added a solo homer.

Toronto left-hander Yusei Kikuchi (4-8) allowed four runs, four hits and one walk with seven strikeouts in five-plus innings.

Yankees right-hander Marcus Stroman allowed three runs, five hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.

Toronto scored in the first on Bo Bichette’s walk and singles by Justin Turner and George Springer.

Kikuchi retired 10 batters before walking Soto with one out in the fourth. Judge followed with a broken-bat single to right. Judge was involved in a rundown between first and second on J.D. Davis’ groundout, when Soto broke for home and scored.

Toronto scored twice in the home fifth. Kiner-Falefa and Bichette singled and Spencer Horwitz was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Guerrero’s fielder’s choice chopper to shortstop scored a run. Turner walked to load the bases. Michael Tonkin (3-3) replaced Stroman and hit Springer with a pitch to score a run. Springer left the game in the seventh with a left-hand contusion.

The Yankees scored six in the sixth. Jahmai Jones singled, Anthony Volpe bunted for a single and Soto hit a 3-0 pitch to right for his 20th homer this season. Nate Pearson replaced Kikuchi. Judge singled and scored on Davis’s double. Torres hit a blast to left for his eighth homer of the season.

Kiner-Falefa hit his seventh homer of the season in the sixth against Tonkin.

Guerrero hit his 12th homer this season in the seventh against Luke Weaver.

New York added two in the eighth against Trevor Richards on RBI doubles by Alex Verdugo and DJ LeMahieu.
