The Florida Panthers grabbed the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history on Monday, and they are listed as the betting favorite or co-favorite to emerge on top again next year.

In early futures lines, the Panthers are a +900 favorite at FanDuel, while DraftKings tops its list with the Panthers and the Dallas Stars both at +900.

The Edmonton Oilers, who fell to Florida in Game 7 on Monday after rallying from a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup Final, are listed at +950 by DraftKings, the third-shortest odds on the board.

FanDuel has the Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes both at +950, then the Stars and Oilers each at +1000.

Dallas finished with the Western Conference’s best regular-season record before falling to Edmonton in the conference finals.

Colorado, the 2022 Stanley Cup champion, lost to the Stars in the conference semifinals.

Carolina reached the 2024 Eastern Conference semifinals before losing to the New York Rangers.

The 2023 NHL champion Vegas Golden Knights are listed sixth by FanDuel at +1100, followed by both the New Jersey Devils and the Presidents’ Trophy winners, the Rangers, at +1300.

Vegas was ousted by Dallas in the first round of the playoffs this spring, while New York lost to the Panthers in the Eastern Conference finals. The Devils failed to make the postseason.

DraftKings lists the Rangers, Avalanche and Hurricanes all at +1200, then the Devils at +1300 and the Golden Knights and the Toronto Maple Leafs at +1600 apiece.

Toronto failed to get past the Boston Bruins in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The biggest longshots on the board include the San Jose Sharks, posted at +30000 by both books. The Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks also have +30000 odds at FanDuel, while DraftKings has that trio at +15000.
