Dallas Wings forward Maddy Siegrist will be out approximately eight weeks following finger surgery Thursday.

Siegrist, 24, fractured her left index finger in the first quarter of Monday night’s loss at Minnesota.

The team estimated Friday that her earliest return would be in mid-August when league play resumes following the Paris Olympics.

Siegrist is averaging 14.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 13 games (11 starts) in her second WNBA campaign.

The No. 3 pick in the 2023 draft averaged 3.7 points in 39 games off the Dallas bench in her rookie season.
