Former World No. 1 players Naomi Osaka, Angelique Kerber and Caroline Wozniacki joined fellow former Grand Slam winner Emma Raducanu on Wednesday in being awarded wild cards for the main draw at Wimbledon.

The quartet will draw into the grass-court tournament that starts July 1.

Four-time Grand Slam winner Osaka and three-time major titleist Kerber returned from maternity leave at the start of the season.

Osaka, of Japan, will make her first appearance at Wimbledon since 2019. She is ranked 113th in the world.

Kerber, of Germany, is the 2018 Wimbledon champion and is ranked 224th in the world.

Raducanu, of Great Britain, is ranked 165th in the world. She was awarded a wild card after working her way back following surgery on both wrists and an ankle. She won the 2021 U.S. Open.

Wozniacki, of Denmark, returned from maternity leave last August. She is ranked 114th in the world. Her lone Grand Slam win came in 2018 at the Australian Open.
