The Philadelphia Phillies activated star shortstop Trea Turner from the 10-day injured list prior to Monday night’s home game against the San Diego Padres.

Turner has been sidelined with a left hamstring strain. He has not played since May 3 when he sustained the injury while scoring on a passed ball in a game against the San Francisco Giants.

Turner is batting .343 with two homers, nine RBIs and 10 steals in 33 games this season.

Turner, 30, is a two-time All-Star and career .298 hitter across 1,037 major league games with the Washington Nationals (2015-21), Los Angeles Dodgers (2021-22) and Phillies. He has 152 homers, 519 RBIs, 715 runs and 270 stolen bases.

The Phillies optioned outfielder Johan Rojas to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move.

Rojas was batting .235 with two homers, 19 RBIs and 14 steals in 58 games with Philadelphia.
