CALLOFDUTY: FaZe prevail again in CDL Major 4 qualifying

The Atlanta FaZe moved out to a 10-point lead atop the qualifying standings for the Call of Duty League Major 4 by sweeping the Boston Breach 3-0 on Friday.

The FaZe (4-0) prevailed 250-176 on Karachi Hardpoint, 6-1 on Karachi Search and Destroy and 3-0 on Karachi Control.

The day’s other two matches were tighter, with the New York Subliners edging the Minnesota Rokkr 3-2 and the Carolina Royal Ravens squeezing past OpTic Texas 3-2.

New York opened with a 250-38 blowout on Sub Base Hardpoint before Minnesota captured Highrise Search and Destroy 6-4 and Karachi Control 3-1. The Subliners rallied to take Karachi Hardpoint 250-177 and 6 Star Search and Destroy 6-5.

Carolina took Vista Hardpoint 250-227 and Highrise Search and Destroy 6-0 to grab a comfortable lead, but Texas rebounded to win Highrise Control 3-2 and Rio Hardpoint 250-226. On the decisive map, Karachi Search and Destroy, the Royal Ravens emerged with a 6-4 triumph.

Qualifying continues Saturday with four matches:
–Carolina Royal Ravens vs. Miami Heretics
–Los Angeles Guerrillas vs. Boston Breach
–Seattle Surge vs. Vegas Legion
–Toronto Ultra vs. Los Angeles Thieves
