MLB: White Sox activate OF Tommy Pham from injured list

The Chicago White Sox activated outfielder Tommy Pham from the 10-day injured list on Friday.

The 36-year-old veteran has been sidelined since June 2 with a sprained left ankle.

Pham is batting .280 with three homers and 12 RBIs in 33 games in his first season with the White Sox.

He is a lifetime .260 hitter with 133 homers and 443 RBIs in 1,038 games with eight major league teams.

Chicago also promoted right-hander Chad Kuhl from Triple-A Charlotte and optioned outfielder Zach DeLoach and right-hander Jordan Leasure to Triple-A.
