Raptors Uprising GC had all it could handle with Wizards District Gaming on Friday night in Washington, D.C. Warriors Gaming Squad, on the other hand, breezed by Bucks Gaming. Regardless of how they got there, the Raptors and Warriors are the last teams standing at the NBA 2K League’s The Tipoff.

The two will face off for the championship on Saturday.

The Tipoff is the first of three tournaments that lead up to the NBA 2K League 5v5 Playoffs that run June 26-29. The Tipoff is followed by The Turn (May 29 to June 15) and The Ticket (June 18 and 22).

The Raptors jumped all over the Wizards in the first game of the Eastern Conference final, scoring 20-plus points in each quarter and nearly hitting triple digits, winning 97-72. Antoine “antoinelove” Times hand a hand in more than 80 percent of his team’s point total, scoring a whopping 46 points and adding 17 assists. The Wizards rebounded in the second game, riding Benjamin “Benzo” Bernstein’s 30 points and coming back from down a point through three quarters to win 74-70.

In the deciding game, Jarvis “Simptoms” Thompson scored 28 points and the Raptors led by nine at the end of the first quarter en route to advancing with a 73-68 win.

For the three games, antoinelove averaged 28.7 points and 17.0 assists, while Simptoms averaged 21.3 points. Benzo scored 26.3 points per game and handed out 14.3 assists per game in the loss.

In the Western Conference final, the Warriors more than doubled the Bucks’ point total in the first game, winning 83-41. Game 2 was closer, but the Warriors completed the sweep with a 78-64 win — holding the Bucks to seven points in the third quarter.

All five Warriors players scored in double figures in the opener and four of five scored at least 14 points in the second game. Charlie “CB13” Bostwick led the Warriors with 47 points and 20 assists in the two games, including 29 points in the second game. Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser scored 21 points in the first game and 14 in the second.

Artreyo “Dimez” Boyd averaged 13.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in the two games in a losing effort for the Bucks.
