The Texas Rangers reinstated right-hander Dane Dunning from the 15-day injured list Wednesday and named him their starter for Wednesday night’s game at Philadelphia.

In a corresponding move, the Rangers optioned RHP Cole Winn to Triple-A Round Rock.

The Rangers put Dunning on the IL earlier this month with a right rotator cuff strain. Dunning is 3-2 with a 4.10 ERA through seven starts this season.

Dunning, 29, is 26-27 with a 4.16 ERA in 105 career games (94 starts) with the Chicago White Sox (2020) and the Rangers.

Winn, 24, went 0-1 with a 6.91 ERA over 11 relief appearances since being called up for his major league debut on April 14.
