Adriana scored on a penalty kick in the first half and the Orlando Pride recorded their sixth straight victory with a 1-0 win over visiting Bay FC on Saturday night.

Anna Moorhouse made two saves for Orlando (6-0-3, 21 points) while recording her fourth shutout of the season.

The Pride moved into first place in the NWSL, three points ahead of both the Kansas City Current and Washington Spirit.

The Pride’s goal was set up by Barbra Banda, who was fouled in the box by Bay FC’s Deyna Castellanos.

Adriana stood at the spot in the 32nd minute and booted a right-footed shot into the left corner of the net. The goal was her first of the season.

Katelyn Rowland made nine saves for Bay FC (2-7-0, 6 points), who lost their fifth consecutive match.

Orlando controlled the flow of play and had a 25-6 edge in shots.

Bay FC had an opportunity in the 62nd minute but Kayla Sharples sent a close-range header high and wide to the right.

In the 84th minute, Banda’s long right-footed shot was stopped by Rowland.

Orlando attempted to make it a two-goal margin in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time but Ally Watt’s right-footed shot was stopped by Rowland. Bay FC never threatened over the ensuing four minutes of stoppage time.

Bay FC have been outscored 13-6 during their five-game skid.

Orlando has outscored its foes 11-3 during the six-game winning streak.
