The T-Wolves’ Damian “Tutak” Tutak added 20 points, shooting 6-for-9 on 3-point attempts. Claude “Claude” Knight led Blazer5 with 27 points and 11 assists and Robert “May” May added 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Elsewhere, Warriors Gaming Squad — the defending NBA 2K 5v5 champions — also moved to 2-0 with an 86-62 rout of Kings Guard Gaming. Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser’s 20 points led a balanced attack as all five Warriors scored in double figures, including Charlie “CB13” Bostwick (16 points, 13 assists). Raymond “KIK6” Rodriguez paced the Kings with a game-high 24 points.
Knicks Gaming topped 76ers GC 88-81 and Cavs Legion GC held off NetsGC 69-66 as both squads improved to 2-0.
