Infielder Zack Short joined his third team in two weeks Thursday, traded from the Boston Red Sox to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for cash considerations.

Boston acquired Short, 28, from the New York Mets on May 1 for cash considerations.

Short appeared in only two games for the Red Sox, going 0-for-7 with four strikeouts. He went 1-for-9 with two runs in 10 games for the Mets this season.

Short is a career .169 hitter with 13 homers and 55 RBIs in 189 games with the Detroit Tigers (2021-23), Mets and Red Sox.

Earlier Thursday, the Braves traded infielder Luis Guillorme to the Los Angeles Angels for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
