MLB: Pirates receive INF Keiner Delgado from Yankees

The Pittsburgh Pirates received infielder Keiner Delgado from the New York Yankees on Tuesday to complete a March 29 trade that sent right-hander JT Brubaker to New York.

Delgado, 20, was ranked as the 20th best prospect in the Yankees organization, according to mlb.com.

In two rookie league seasons in the Yankees’ organization, the Venezuela native is a .301 hitter with 11 home runs and 59 RBIs in 101 games. He was named a Florida Complex League postseason All-Star in 2023.
