NBA2K: Jazz reach NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Steal Open quarters

Jazz Gaming emerged with a 3-2 victory over Team Clutch as the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Steal Open got underway on Friday.

The event began with 15 NBA 2K League teams plus Team Clutch, a community squad, vying for the last two berths in the 3v3 playoffs. The two teams that reach the final on Saturday will make the 3v3 playoff tournament, scheduled for Wednesday through April 27 in Washington.

Clutch opened with a 23-13 win before the Jazz posted 23-14 and 22-15 victories. After Clutch extended the series with a 21-17 triumph, the Jazz sealed the match with a 22-20 win.

“ForgiveJustin” Barnes paced the Jazz with averages of 9.6 points and 3.2 assists per game.

In other Friday action, Warriors Gaming Squad wiped out NBL Oz Gaming 3-0, DUX Infinitos dumped Pacers Gaming 3-0, Bucks Gaming nipped Mavs Gaming 3-2, Hawks Talon GC hammered Blazer5 Gaming 3-0, Raptors Uprising GC downed Wizards District Gaming 3-1, Knicks Gaming KO’d Kings Guard Gaming 3-1, and Cavs Legion GC edged Hornets Venom GT 3-2.

The Saturday quarterfinal matchups:
–Warriors Gaming Squad vs. Jazz Gaming
–DUX Infinitos vs. Bucks Gaming
–Raptors Uprising GC vs. Knicks Gaming
–Cavs Legion GC vs. Hawks Talon GC

The semifinals and finals will follow later Saturday.
