NFL: Giants sign veteran DT Jordan Phillips

The New York Giants signed free agent defensive tackle Jordan Phillips on Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.

Phillips, 31, has played in 120 games (62 starts) with three teams since breaking into the NFL in 2015.

He registered 2.5 sacks, 15 tackles and five passes defended in 14 games (nine starts) with Buffalo last season.

Phillips has 24 sacks, 51 QB hits and 181 tackles with the Miami Dolphins (2015-18), Bills (2018-19, 2022-23) and Arizona Cardinals (2020-21).

Giants head coach Brian Daboll was the offensive coordinator in Buffalo when Phillips played there in 2018 and 2019.
