The Detroit Lions on Wednesday matched the three-year offer sheet of the San Francisco 49ers to restricted free agent tight end Brock Wright, ESPN reported.

The offer sheet was worth $12 million, including $6 million guaranteed, according to the report. The Lions had tendered a one-year deal worth $2.985 million to Wright in early March.

Wright, 25, caught 13 passes for 91 yards behind Lions starting tight end Sam LaPorta last season. Wright played in 14 games, starting four when LaPorta was out with a knee injury.

Wright, who signed as an undrafted free agent in 2021, has 43 catches for 424 yards and seven touchdowns in 41 career games (19 starts) with the Lions.
