NBA2K: Three teams earn sweeps in NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Switch Open

Grizz Gaming, Jazz Gaming and Heat Check Gaming each earned two wins on Thursday in group play for the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Switch Open.

The Grizz registered a pair of 3-1 wins, against Bucks Gaming and Warriors Gaming Squad.

The Bucks jumped in front with a 22-12 lead before the Grizz replied with 22-8, 22-20 and 22-20 victories.

In their second match, the Grizz opened with a 22-11 triumph, but the Warriors pulled level with a 22-16 win. The Grizz sealed the series with 21-15 and 22-9 victories.

The Jazz thrashed Kings Guard Gaming 3-0 by 21-16, 22-18 and 22-18 scores.

The Jazz subsequently beat Warriors Gaming Squad 3-1. After 22-20 and 22-17 Jazz victories, the Warriors stayed alive with a 23-21 triumph. The Jazz sealed the series by a 22-17 final.

The Heat swept Pistons GT 3-0, prevailing 23-18, 21-17 and 22-18, then eked past DUX Infinitos 3-2. After Heat wins by 22-20 and 22-14 margins, DUX rallied for 23-9 and 24-22 victories. The Heat sealed their big night with a 22-17 win.

In other Thursday action, Knicks Gaming got past 76ers Gaming 3-1, Blazer5 Gaming dumped T-Wolves Gaming 3-1, Raptors Uprising GC squeaked past Celtics Crossover Gaming 3-2, Lakers Gaming downed Pacers Gaming 3-1, DUX topped Magic Gaming 3-1, the 76ers stopped Wizards District Gaming 3-1, the T-Wolves trounced Mavs Gaming 3-0, the Pistons pounded the Hornets 3-0, the Celtics toppled the Knicks 3-1, the Kings outplayed the Bucks 3-1, the Wizards hammered the Raptors 3-0, the Magic blasted the Hornets 3-0.

Group play in the Switch Open continues with 14 matches on Friday and runs through Monday. Bracket play is scheduled for April 3-6.

The Switch Open is the second of three 3v3 tournaments in the NBA 2K League season. Lakers Gaming won the Slam Open, and the Steal Open will follow next month. The 3v3 playoffs are set for April 24-27 in Washington.
