NBA: Bucks F Khris Middleton set to return from ankle injury

Milwaukee Bucks All-Star forward Khris Middleton is set to return from a month-long absence because of an ankle injury during Sunday’s home game against the Phoenix Suns.

In was in a game against the Suns on Feb. 6 at Phoenix when Middleton came away with a sprained left ankle. Milwaukee went 10-6 while Middleton was on the mend, including Thursday’s 114-105 home victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bucks fashioned a six-game wining streak during Middleton’s absence, but are just 2-3 since March 6.

Middleton, 32, has scored 14.8 points with 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 43 games, all starts, this season.

An All-Star in 2019, 2020 and 2022, Middleton has averaged 16.9 points in 727 career games (638 starts) over 12 seasons. He began his NBA career in 2012-13 with the Detroit Pistons before a July 2013 trade to the Bucks.
