NFL: Report: Panthers signing edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson

The Carolina Panthers are signing former Jacksonville Jaguars edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson to a one-year, $5 million contract, NFL Network reported on Friday.

Chaisson, 24, is looking for a fresh start after spending four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville selected him with the 20th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft out of LSU.

He recorded 13 tackles and two sacks in 17 games off the bench last season. He totaled 73 tackles and five sacks in 57 career games (11 starts) with the Jaguars.
