LOL: 100 Thieves grab piece of LCS Spring Split lead

100 Thieves won and FlyQuest lost on Friday, creating a tie atop the League Championship Series Spring Split standings.

100 Thieves (8-4) registered a 28-minute victory over Immortals (3-9) on blue. Meanwhile, Team Liquid (6-6) posted a 31-minute upset of FlyQuest (8-4) on blue.

In the day’s other action, Cloud9 topped Dignitas in 26 minutes on red, and Shopify Rebellion squeezed past NRG in 38 minutes on red.

The top four teams in the standings head to the winners bracket for the playoffs, which start Thursday. The fifth- and sixth-place teams will start in the losers bracket. Pool play ends on Sunday.

The Spring Split playoff champion and runner-up will be the North American League of Legends circuit’s representatives in the Mid-Season Invitational, scheduled for May 1-19 in China. The LCS winner heads to the MSI main draw, while the second-place team will compete in the MSI’s play-in event.
