CSGO: ESL Impact Season 5 to feature $150K prize pool

The ESL FACEIT Group announced that Season 5 of its women’s Counter-Strike circuit ESL Impact will include 28 teams from across four regions competing for the bulk of the $150,000 prize pool.

The competition begins Wednesday and the in-person finals will take place at DreamHack Dallas from May 31-June 2, with $123,000 of the prize pool at stage.

Team Pigeon, formerly known as Nigma Galaxy, will return seeking to extend their run of seven consecutive ESL Impact LAN victories.

North America, Europe and South America will host group stage competition to qualify for the Grand Finals. The stage will consist of a single round-robin, with all matches being best-of-three. The winners and runners-up from each region will advance to the Global Finals.

Asia will conduct a Wildcard Online Qualifier from March 9-11 with another spot up for grabs in the single bracket also consisting of best-of-three matches.
