Marquette star Tyler Kolek will miss the last two games of the regular season with an oblique injury.

The school said Monday that the senior guard will be re-evaluated before next week’s Big East tournament.

Kolek, the reigning Big East Player of the Year, did not play in Saturday’s 89-75 setback at Creighton.

The Golden Eagles host Connecticut on Wednesday before ending the regular season Saturday at Xavier.

The 6-foot-3 Kolek is averaging 15.0 points, 7.6 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 28 starts this season.

He leads the nation in assists per game and is shooting 40.0 percent (44 of 110) from 3-point range.
