Jordan Kyrou scored two goals, including the 100th of his career, as the visiting St. Louis Blues routed the Montreal Canadiens 7-2 on Sunday.

Robert Thomas had a goal and three assists and Torey Krug had five assists for the Blues, who have won seven of eight games and five straight on the road.

Colton Parayko, Alexey Toropchenko, Nathan Walker and Jake Neighbours also scored as St. Louis moved seven games over .500 for the first time this season.

Jordan Binnington made 30 saves to earn the victory.

Nick Suzuki and Joel Armia scored goals for the Canadiens, who have lost six of their last eight games. Jake Allen allowed seven goals on 36 shots.

Toropchenko scored a highlight-reel goal 25 seconds into the game. He burst up the right wing, slid the puck between his legs, then sliced to the net.

Parayko doubled the Blues’ lead to 2-0 at the 5:05 mark with a slap shot through Brayden Schenn’s screen.

Blues winger Sammy Blais was assessed a five-minute boarding penalty, giving the Canadiens a chance to come back. The Blues killed off the penalty, but they didn’t put a player in the penalty box to serve Blais’ penalty.

So Suzuki converted Juraj Slakovsky’s cross-ice pass with the Blues still playing short-handed five seconds after the penalty expired.

St. Louis answered with a power-play goal at 15:20 of the first period to push its lead to 3-1. Thomas shot from straight away and Kyrou banged in the rebound.

Walker made it 4-1 in favor of the Blues by coming off the bench to score through a screen with 2:11 left in the second period.

Thomas scored a power-play goal 31 seconds into the third period to increase the Blues’ lead to 5-1.

Montreal cut its deficit to 5-2 when David Savard fired a shot that deflected off Armia. But the Blues struck with another power-play goal, with Krug firing a shot that bounced off Neighbours to make it 6-2.

Kyrou made it 7-2 when his shot over the net caromed back and banked in off Allen.
