Tyrece Radford recorded 27 points, five rebounds and five assists to help Texas A&M thrash No. 6 Tennessee 85-69 on Saturday night in Southeastern Conference play at College Station, Texas.
Wade Taylor IV made five 3-pointers and had 25 points and seven assists for the Aggies (15-8, 6-4 SEC), who have won five of their past six games. Andersson Garcia collected 17 rebounds to help Texas A&M hold a 43-35 edge on the boards.
Dalton Knecht had 22 points and seven rebounds for the Volunteers (17-6, 7-3), who lost for just the second time in the past eight games. Zakai Zeigler added 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals for Tennessee.
The Aggies shot 46.7 percent from the field, including 11 of 28 from 3-point range. Tennessee made just 37.1 percent of its attempts and was only 8 of 29 from behind the arc.
No. 1 UConn 89, Georgetown 64
Alex Karaban scored 25 points as the Huskies throttled the Hoyas in Washington, D.C.
Karaban finished 10-for-14 from the field and 4-for-7 from 3-point range for UConn (22-2, 12-1 Big East), which matched its season high with 52 points in the first half and never trailed en route to its 12th straight win. Stephon Castle added 17 points for the Huskies.
Dontrez Styles led a mostly one-dimensional Georgetown (8-15, 1-11) offense with 23 points. Supreme Cook added 12 points for the Hoyas, while Jayden Epps, who entered Saturday fourth in the Big East with 18.3 points per game, managed four on 2-of-8 shooting.
No. 2 Purdue 79, Indiana 59
Zach Edey dominated the Hoosiers inside for the second time this season, scoring 26 points and grabbing 13 rebounds as the Boilermakers rolled to a Big Ten Conference win in West Lafayette, Ind.
Edey added four assists and sent the sellout crowd into a frenzy when he banked in a 3-pointer from the top of the circle with 6:34 left for a 69-41 lead. He made 7 of 15 shots from the field and 11 of 16 at the line, drawing 10 fouls.
Braden Smith added 19 points and nine rebounds for the Boilermakers (22-2, 11-2), who dominated the boards 46-31 and led for more than 33 minutes. Four players finished in double figures for Indiana (14-10, 6-7), led by reserve CJ Gunn with 13 points.
No. 3 North Carolina 75, Miami 72
RJ Davis led the way with a game-high 25 points and the Tar Heels kept their grip on the Atlantic Coast Conference lead with a victory over the Hurricanes in Coral Gables, Fla.
Freshman Elliot Cadeau scored a season-high 19 points with eight assists and Harrison Ingram added 13 points for the Tar Heels (19-5, 11-2 ACC). Armando Bacot overcame a sluggish first half to post his 79th career double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Bacot moved into the No. 3 spot in school career scoring with 2,150 points and also is now third in career rebounds in the ACC with 1,581.
Nijel Pack and Norchad Omier led the Hurricanes (15-9, 6-7) with 20 points each, while Omier added 11 rebounds.
No. 4 Kansas 64, No. 13 Baylor 61
Hunter Dickinson scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Dajuan Harris Jr. added 14 points as the Jayhawks remained unbeaten at home with a victory over the Bears at Lawrence, Kan.
KJ Adams Jr. supplied 13 points and Johnny Furphy added 11 points and six steals as Kansas (19-5, 7-4 Big 12) improved to 13-0 in its building while rebounding from a loss Monday at Kansas State.
Yves Missi scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Ja’Kobe Walter added 17 and eight rebounds as Baylor (17-6, 6-4) saw its three-game winning streak come to an end. The Bears were playing without its third-leading scorer Langston Love (ankle).
No. 5 Houston 67, Cincinnati 62
J’Wan Roberts finished with 20 points and eight rebounds and Jamal Shead added 16 points to rally the No. 5 Cougars past the host Bearcats in a Big 12 contest.
Houston (21-3, 8-3 Big 12) dominated in the paint, outscoring Cincinnati, 38-22. The Cougars had a 17-9 advantage on offensive rebounds and 41-34 in total boards..
Dan Skillings Jr. had 13 points and John Newman III chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Cincinnati (15-8, 4-6), which couldn’t find a way to hold onto a seven-point lead early in the second half. Jizzle James added 10 points for the Bearcats.
No. 7 Marquette 86, St. John’s 75
Tyler Kolek scored 22 of his 27 points in the second half as the Golden Eagles rallied for a victory over the Red Storm in a Big East matchup in Milwaukee.
St. John’s, which led by 15 in the first half, pulled within 75-73 on Chris Ledlum’s lay-in with 4:11 remaining. Kolek scored on a drive and then fed Oso Ighodaro underneath to push the lead to 79-73. Daniss Jenkins’ jumper made it 79-75 with just over two minutes left, but the Red Storm did not score the rest of the way.
Kolek hit 11 of 17 shots, including 5 of 8 beyond the arc, and dished out 13 assists as Marquette (18-5, 9-3 Big East) extended its winning streak to seven. Jenkins had 22 points, RJ Luis Jr. added 13 points and Nahiem Alleyne 12 for St. John’s (14-10, 6-7).
No. 8 Arizona 99, Colorado 79
Caleb Love scored 19 points and Oumar Ballo had a double-double as the Wildcats handed the Buffaloes their first home loss of the season.
The Wildcats (19-5, 10-3 Pac-12) quickly expanded a 47-40 halftime lead by hitting 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to start the second half, and they were never threatened after that. Colorado (16-8, 7-6) was 13-0 on its own floor, the best home start in program history.
KJ Simpson and Tristan da Silva each scored 20 points for the Buffaloes, with Simpson also assisting on nine baskets.

Mark Mitchell scored 17 points to lead five players in double figures as the Blue Devils took control in the second half to defeat the Eagles at Durham, N.C.
Kyle Filipowski and Jeremy Roach each had 16 points, Jared McCain collected 11 points and 10 rebounds and Tyrese Proctor posted 10 points for Duke (18-5, 9-3 Atlantic Coast Conference), which has won two in a row at home since last Saturday’s loss at North Carolina.
Mason Madsen scored 15 points and Claudell Harris Jr. added 13 for the Eagles (13-10, 4-8), who shot 40.7 percent from the field and made 5 of 26 3-pointers.
Michigan State 88, No. 10 Illinois 80
A.J. Hoggard scored 23 points and Malik Hall added 22, including a pair of crucial 3-point plays down the stretch, as the host Spartans erased a late eight-point deficit to stop the No. 10 Illini at East Lansing, Mich.
The Spartans (15-9, 7-6 Big Ten) trailed 72-64 with 7:39 remaining in regulation and went on a 24-8 scoring run to end the game. Hoggard went 12 of 13 at the foul line, while Tyson Walker added 19 points. Michigan State sank 52.7 percent of its field goals and made more foul shots (25) than the Illini attempted (20).
Terrence Shannon Jr. scored a game-high 28 points for Illinois (17-6, 8-4) but made only 7 of 19 attempts from the field and 2 of 9 from 3-point range. Coleman Hawkins added 14 points and seven assists.
Rutgers 78, No. 11 Wisconsin 56
Noah Fernandes had 17 points on 6-for-6 shooting, including a season-high five 3-pointers, to guide the Scarlet Knights’ upset of the Badgers in Piscataway, N.J.
Fernandes came off the bench to have his best game of the season, while Jeremiah Williams racked up a game-high 18 points, five rebounds and seven assists for Rutgers (13-10, 5-7 Big Ten) in its third straight victory.
Connor Essegian scored 15 points and AJ Storr had 14 as Wisconsin (16-8, 8-5) lost its fourth in a row.
Florida 81, No. 12 Auburn 65
Riley Kugel scored 22 points, Walter Clayton Jr. had 20 and Zyon Pullin added 19 as the Gators rolled past the Tigers in their Southeastern Conference matchup in Gainesville, Fla.
Florida (16-7, 6-4 SEC) won for the fifth time in six games behind a torrid shooting start and a defensive effort that kept Auburn’s frontcourt tandem of Johni Broome and Jaylin Williams in check. The duo, which entered the game averaging over 29 points combined, was held to 20 points.
Broome scored 14 points, K.D. Johnson had 12 and Chaney Johnson had nine points and 10 rebounds for Auburn. The Tigers (19-5, 8-3) trailed by as many as 29. Auburn’s four losses before Saturday came by a combined 21 points.
No. 14 Iowa State 71, TCU 59
Tre King scored 15 points and the Cyclones held off the Horned Frogs in their Big 12 Conference game in Ames, Iowa.
The Cyclones shot 50 percent (24 of 48) in winning their second straight game and improving to 14-0 at home. Keshon Gilbert and Curtis Jones each had 13 points for Iowa State (18-5, 7-3 Big 12). Gilbert added seven assists.
TCU (16-7, 5-5) dropped its second consecutive contest and is 2-3 on the road in Big 12 play. Emanuel Miller led the Horned Frogs with 18 points.
No. 16 Alabama 109, LSU 92
Mark Sears scored 23 points and Latrell Wrightsell Jr. scored 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds as the Crimson Tide went on the road to defeat the Tigers in Baton Rouge, La.
Nick Pringle scored 17 points, Rylan Griffen added 16 and Aaron Estrada had 15 for Alabama (17-7, 9-2 Southeastern Conference), which scored 60 points after the break.
Will Baker scored 24 points, Jalen Cook had 20 and Tyrell Ward added 15 for LSU (12-11, 4-6). The Tigers also lost to the Crimson Tide, 109-88, on Jan. 27 at Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Gonzaga 89, No. 17 Kentucky 85
Graham Ike scored 23 points as the Bulldogs boosted their NCAA Tournament resume by beating the Wildcats in Lexington, Ky.
Nolan Hickman and Anton Watson each scored 17 points, Ben Gregg had 14 and Braden Huff scored 12 as the Bulldogs (18-6 overall) rallied from a six-point deficit with 12:30 remaining to post their first Quad 1 victory in six tries this season.
Reed Sheppard scored all 21 of his points in the second half for Kentucky (16-7), which lost its third in a row at home for the first time since 1966 — 10 years before Rupp Arena opened. Antonio Reeves added 17 points and Adou Thiero scored 15 points for the Wildcats.
No. 15 South Carolina 75, Vanderbilt 60
Collin Murray-Boyles scored a career-high 31 points and headlined a key second-half run that helped the Gamecocks pick up a home victory over the Commodores.
Murray-Boyles netted 12 points and B.J. Mack added six as the Gamecocks (21-3, 9-2 Southeastern Conference) opened the second half with a 21-6 outburst, grabbing a 49-38 lead with 14:57 remaining. Murray-Boyles went 14-for-17 from the field for the game, also hauling in seven rebounds. Mack drained five 3-pointers en route to 18 points for South Carolina, which is riding a seven-game winning streak.
Lawrence finished with a team-high 15 points as the Commodores (6-17, 1-9) lost for the ninth time in its past 10 games. Ven-Allen Lubin was the Commodores’ only other scorer in double figures with 13 points.
No. 19 Creighton 78, Xavier 71
The Bluejays used a 13-0 run bridging the first and second half and then held off a frantic Musketeers rally to post a Big East win in Cincinnati.
Ryan Kalkbrenner led Creighton (17-7, 8-5 Big East) with 28 points. Baylor Scheierman fell just shy of a triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists as the Bluejays ended a two-game skid. Desmond Claude had 22 points and Dayvion McKnight added 21 to lead Xavier (13-11, 7-6).
Creighton led 74-60 following a Steven Ashworth 3 with 3:45 remaining. Xavier scored the next nine points to close within 74-69 on a McKnight floater in the lane with 1:16 remaining, but the Bluejays managed to hold on.
No. 21 BYU 72, Kansas State 66
Fousseyni Traore collected a team-high 14 points and eight rebounds, helping lead the Cougars past the Wildcats in Provo, Utah.
Jaxson Robinson and Spencer Johnson added 12 points apiece for BYU (17-6, 5-5 Big 12), which won its third game in the last four tries. Noah Waterman scored 11 for BYU, followed by Trevin Knell’s 10.
Arthur Kaluma led Kansas State (15-9, 5-6) with 18 points, while Cam Carter scored 14. Will McNair Jr. grabbed a team-leading 10 boards for the Wildcats, who have dropped five out of their last six games.

Mason Falslev scored a career-high 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting to lead the Aggies past the Broncos in Mountain West play in Logan, Utah.
Darius Brown II recorded 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists as Utah State (20-4, 8-3 Mountain West) snapped a two-game losing streak. Isaac Johnson had 14 points and Great Osobor added 10 points and 10 rebounds as Utah State improved to 11-1 at home and regained sole possession of first place in the Mountain West.
Tyson Degenhart had 17 points and eight rebounds for Boise State (16-8, 7-4), which lost its second straight contest. Max Rice had 12 points and O’Mar Stanley tallied 11 before fouling out.
No. 23 Texas Tech 66, UCF 59
Climbing out a funk took a different approach for the Red Raiders, which snapped a season-long three-game losing streak with a victory over the visiting Knights in Lubbock.
The Red Raiders (17-6, 6-4 Big 12 Conference) never trailed and leaned heavily on defense to prevail against one of the stingiest teams in the league. Joe Toussaint’s two free throws with 41 seconds to go gave the Red Raiders some breathing room with a five-point advantage after the Knights (13-9, 4-6) edged within 58-57 with 2:07 to go.
Darrion Williams (13 points, 13 rebounds) extended the Texas Tech lead to 60-57 when he stepped into a mid-range jump shot from the free-throw line at the 1:52 juncture. UCF had two possessions to get closer, but the Red Raiders’ defense stood strong.
UNLV 80, No. 25 New Mexico 77
Dedan Thomas Jr. had a career-high 25 points and twins Keylan and Kalib Boone each made two late free throws to lead the Rebels past the Lobos in Albuquerque, N.M.
Rob Whaley Jr. added 16 points for UNLV (13-9, 6-4 Mountain West), which has won four in a row and swept the season series against New Mexico.
The Lobos (19-5, 7-4) were led by 20 points apiece from Dent and Jaelen House.
