The Los Angeles Angels acquired right-hander Guillermo Zuniga from the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations.

Right-hander Austin Warren was designated for assignment in a corresponding roster move by the Angels.

Zuniga, 25, posted a 4.50 ERA without a decision in a pair of relief appearances with the Cardinals last season.

He was 0-2 with five saves and a 7.63 ERA in 29 relief appearances with Triple-A Memphis in 2023.
