Jordan Pope had 19 points, six assists and four rebounds to lead Oregon State to an 84-71 victory over Arizona State on Saturday night in a Pac-12 game at Corvallis, Ore.
Pope’s performance followed his last-second 3-pointer that beat No. 9 Arizona on Thursday night.
The Beavers (11-9, 3-6 Pac-12) swept Arizona and Arizona State at home for the first time since the 2014-15 season after entering the weekend on a five-game losing streak.
Arizona State (11-9, 5-4) has lost four of its past five games, a rut that also includes a setback against Oregon.
Tyler Bilodeau added 18 points and seven rebounds and Michael Rataj had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Oregon State.
Arizona State was led by Jose Perez, who scored 19 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field while making all nine of his free-throw attempts.
He was the Sun Devils’ lone scorer in double figures until 3:51 remained, when Shawn Phillips Jr. made a layup.
Phillips finished with 13 points and Frankie Collins had 14 for the visitors.
Arizona State shot 34.8 percent from the field, going 3 of 26 from 3-point range.
Oregon State made 56.5 percent of its shots from the floor.
The Beavers (3 of 14 from 3-point range) made 23 of 32 shots from inside the arc.
They outrebounded the Sun Devils 47-26.
Oregon State did not trail in the game after the 17:06 mark of the first half.
The Beavers were in the midst of a 17-0 run at that time, an outburst that allowed them to take a 19-5 lead with 12:36 remaining until halftime.
During that stretch, Bilodeau had nine points and Pope tallied six.
Arizona State cut the lead to 30-23 with 3:53 left in the first half.
Oregon State then scored six unanswered points and led by double digits the rest of the game.
Pope ended the half with a 3-pointer at the buzzer that gave the Beavers a 44-29 lead.
The Sun Devils did not get closer than 11 points in the second half.
